YOUTH

Noel Student Ministry is a safe and accepting atmosphere which prepares our students to be true followers of Jesus Christ. We strive to help students understand the tough questions in life while keeping a strong faith in Jesus. Sunday Nights at the Crossing is our time of community where we strengthen faith through activities, devotional, and service. We live out our discipleship by participating in local, state, national, and international missions and faith building events. There’s always a place for you!

Join us at The Crossing (United Methodist Youth Fellowship). All 7th-12th grade students are invited and encouraged to participate in this very important discipleship formation time. Each meeting will consist of a snack supper, a scripture and devotional time, and an activity. Through the Crossing, your teenager will continue grow in discipleship with Jesus Christ through missions, worship, evangelism, and fellowship.

  • Our Youth Sunday School is a wonderful atmosphere for youth to learn more about how our lives are part of the grander narrative of God’s story. Exploring the Bible as God’s story allows our youth to see the unique value of their own life story and the lives of others. Held on Sundays at 10am.

  • All 6th-8th graders are invited to meet in the NCAP Space on the 3rd Floor during the Sunday School hour to begin the journey of Confirmation. Confirmation allows students to declare their faith in Christ and are strengthened by the Holy Spirit for continuing discipleship. We pray that your student can join us for this very important discipleship journey.

  • Each summer our students participate in multiple faith forming trips. Some outings are local while others are further away. Regardless, our trips have one purpose to fulfill: To make disciples of Jesus Christ through the acts of missions, evangelism, worship, and fellowship.

  • Troop 15 is the oldest troop in Northwest Louisiana, founded by its chartering organization, Noel Memorial UMC. In the Boy Scouts of America, all boys, regardless of their religious preference, are welcomed.
