Special Events

Throughout the year, NCAP offers temporary events that are open to the community. These opportunities include NCAP Summer Camps for kids and youth, our Mobile Arts Studio where you can find our pop-up art table at different city-wide events, and our One-Time-Classes that range from  jewelry making to art journaling, from paper flower arranging to hand-lettering. Check back in frequently to see what we're planning next!

first wednesday of each month, 11:30a-12:30p

Each month, we are offering a lunchtime round-table experience for writers who are looking for a facilitated opportunity to connect with other writers, have accountability for their craft, and exploring new techniques. Email noelcommunityarts@gmail.com to inquire about spots.

Monthly journaling fellowship

first sunday of each month, 2p

Are you looking for a few friends to journal with on a regular basis? Do you need a spot to spread out your supplies or the accountability of being with other people? Beginning Sunday April 2, NCAP will be offering an opportunity each for art-journalers to gather and work together. No experience is needed--just bing your Bible, journal, pens, crayons or paints and join us in the NCAP art room for a time of fellowship and creating. (Childcare is not provided, but children are welcome.) Email noelcommunityarts@gmail.com for more information.

Faith & Arts Trip, chicago

april 18-22

With the purpose of witnessing ways that the Church in a particular area is bringing hope to the world through creativity and then making space to reflect on that hope creatively with our own mediums, NCAP will be leading our first ever Faith & Arts Trip this coming Spring. Sign up to travel with other creatives and visit a variety of ministries and programs in the Chicago area, take time and space each day for making art (writing, drawing, designing, etc) in reflection of what you've seen, share your work with the group, and sight-see in the city. All mediums welcomed, so long as they fit well in a carry-on.

Sign up closed November 2016.
